I am Chef Angel Austria. I’m a professional chef with a dash of sugar, spice and everything nice!
I provide my culinary skills in a wide area of service-based products such as small in-home private dining concepts, cooking classes, brand ambassadorship, recipe development and content creation, amongst others.
I started my career in 1998 in Manila, Philippines where I finished Bachelor of Science major in Hotel and Restaurant Management at St. Paul University in Quezon City, Manila. I then pursued an Associates degree in International Culinary Arts and Professional Kitchen Management at The Academy for International Culinary Arts in the same country.
In pursuit of my passion, I interned and worked in some of the best hotels around Manila, learned and worked with Philippines’ celebrity chefs and was a member of a culinary team that catered prominent government leaders and dignitaries.
In 2007 my life journey brought me to the USA. Here, I gained more experience working for reputable hotels and restaurants, from the Bay area in California and I am currently based in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
